Prostitution, legal but not accepted in Senegal
In Senegal prostitution is legal, in hopes of regulating venereal diseases and HIV/AIDS. But this legalization doesn’t mean the social status of prostitues has improved, as the prostitute in this report tells us: “people have more respect for a cat or a dead dog than they have for a prostitute.”
